Our goal is to make our recycling service as convenient as possible. Our service is provided at no cost for any consumer looking to dispose of computer equipment. Businesses looking to dispose of old computer equipment are encouraged to contact us to discuss and schedule appointments and transportation arrangements.

  • Many devices in the computer industry contain elements that are harmful to the environment, such as lead and mercury. This is why we make every attempt to keep equipment in circulation as long as possible. When equipment cannot be kept in circulation, either due to it being inoperable or due to its age, we make every attempt to recycle those parts. If for some reason it cannot be recycled, it is disposed of properly according to the most current EPA guidelines.
  • Affordable Computer Services can also provide document of Data Destruction if that is a concern for you or your business.
  • During the process of recycling, when any device that could possibly contain any older data is processed, Affordable Computer Services handles it in two ways:
  • If the device is to be remarketed, the device through a time-tested process that effectively and efficiently destroys all data, rendering it completely unrecoverable. This can happen on-site or off-site.
  • If the device is not remarketable, the device is put through a process that physically destroys the product, thus rendering the data unrecoverable. This can happen on-site or off-site.
